Fort Nelson First Nation Water Strategy

The Fort Nelson First Nation Water Strategy has been developed to ensure proper functioning and ecological integrity of aquatic ecosystems in Fort Nelson First Nation territory. The Water Strategy sets a framework for Fort Nelson First Nation to engage in protecting water and improving water governance throughout the territory. It is also intended to reconnect people with water, strengthen community connection to and presence on the rivers, and expand community-based water monitoring, management and restoration efforts.
